First of all, congratulations!

In Premarital Counseling, I utilize the Prepare-Enrich Assessment to break your relationship and relationship expectations into 10 different categories, ranging from communication and conflict resolution to sexual expectations and parenting techniques. It is an in-depth assessment that allows partners to review and discuss the ways that they would like to move forward in life, without alienating either individual.

In the first 90 minute session we will attempt to explore all 10 categories of the assessment, slowing down growth areas and working to develop ways that help navigate through unspoken expectations, generational rules that had not been previously discussed, or any other number of things that might become barriers for you and your partner down the line. Often times with premarital counseling it takes more than one session to review all the data, as well as explore any questions that the couple has around the information, but how many sessions is dependent on each couple and the expectations that they have.
